Anyone notice that the GOP civil war has escalated into something I have probably never seen before?
Conservatives at war with GOP Establishment.
Conservative Establishment vs (real) Conservatives
Real conservatives who support trump vs real conservatives who think trump is a progressive.
Glenn Beck vs Trump
Glenn Beck vs Sarah Palin
National Review vs Breitbart
Breitbart vs Glenn Beck
Weekly Standard vs trumpians
The list goes on an on. Sure this kind of happened in 2012 too, but this time its way worst. For one thing, there where many in the conservative establishment who where against or at least very sceptical of Romney.
This time however, I see a chism, a real deep and festering shism. Something like the hatred between Pumas and Obama radicals in the democrat 08 election but far worste. These guys are literally at each others throaths, accusing their enemies of being "progressive", liberals, Bill Kristol threathening to go third party, Rick Wilson asking Ann Coulter if trump pays more for anal, etc, etc. And then of course the hilarious insult fests of Trump vs his enemies himself.
I've never seen an intra party war as extreme as now. There are those who say that Romney's negative campaign was part of the reason of a low GOP turnout in 2012. If that is true then Democrats have 2016 in the pocket cause 2012 was literally kindergarten compared to what is happening now.
My advice to the democratic party. Stay calm, stay business like. Have a good fierce debate but don't lose your head. Choose whomever you want in for the nomination (Hillary, Biden or Bern) but come together quickly after the nomination. Let all the "if you're candidate wins the nomination i won't turn up to vote" bullshit be for the other party.
And then crush the already half destroyed Republican party in 2016.
