After spending a short tenure as one of the front page writers here I moved over to Salon where, for the most part, I write exclusively. David Blight is guest on this week’s episode of The Chauncey DeVega Show. Professor Blight is the Class of 1954 Professor of American History at Yale University. He is also the Director of the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition. Professor Blight is the author of many books including his newest Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom.
