The missing speech

In times of national crisis, of national unrest, a wise, courageous and moral leader will step forward to inspire, to reassure, to reaffirm and renew the commitment to our national values and philosophy. The leadership from the current president elect is woefully lacking in this regard, in fact even treasonous and derelict in its scope.  He lacks the wisdom, courage and discipline to address this nation in the manner deserving of a great and powerful democracy.  America has been founded upon the principles of life, liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness.  These are fundamental principles that have been reaffirmed, and renewed at every juncture of import in our history. From the founding of our nation, through our wars, our economic crises, our civil strife, our political crises and during the perennial changing of the guard after elections, our leaders have reaffirmed the commitment to the most basic democratic principles that we aspire to as outlined in our Charters of Freedom: The Declaration of Independence, The United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - The Declaration of Independence

“ in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity…, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

The current president elect has through public forums incited, inflamed, inspired and encouraged the enemies of democracy to organize as a collective threat in order to dismantle rather than to reaffirm or renew our fundamental democratic principles. This has been encouraged and facilitated by the systematic use of violence, threats, intimidation, coercion, ridicule, abandonment of basic social decorum, abandonment of the rule of law, and the acceptance of rabid racial ideologies. He and his cabal have publically and vocally through public and private meetings, through rally’s and open forums, through press and social media set up the political infrastructure and channels to create a social and political climate that will be utilized to intimidate, ridicule and threaten fundamental tenants of our Bill of Rights:

I …respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

III No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

IV  The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

VIII … nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

He and is cabal are only getting warmed up. We owe it to our great democracy, to our posterity to establish a leader with the qualities of courage, wisdom, strength and discipline in the White House.

This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened…Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free.
